What is Stainless Steel Enclosure？
Stainless steel enclosure refers to a protective box or casing made of stainless steel materials (such as 304, 316, etc.) through sheet metal processing (cutting, bending, welding, etc.), mainly used to protect, seal, and shield electronic equipment, mechanical parts or other sensitive components. Because of the anti-rust and anti-corrosion characteristics of stainless steel enclosures, it is widely used in outdoor equipment protection. Austenitic stainless steel
According to the crystal structure and composition classification, the 304 stainless steel commonly used by Jushun belongs to austenitic stainless steel, which is the best corrosion-resistant stainless steel. 304 stainless steel contains nickel (8%~10%), which can stabilize the austenitic structure and enhance acid and alkali resistance. Of course, if you have different requirements for stainless steel performance, we can also make adjustments in materials.
Modules
Stainless steel enclosures from JUSHUN are divided into two types: unibody and modular enclosure. Unibody means that the enclosure is made entirely of the same material and does not need to be reassembled or reinstalled. On the other hand, modular enclosure means that the enclosure is assembled from multiple modules, each of which can be made of different materials.
Composition
Common stainless steel enclosures are composed of hinged doors, seamless poured-in place gaskets, stainless steel sheet metal bodies, and drain holes. Of course, we can add specific parts to the stainless steel housing according to your application areas. we can add glass or acrylic viewing windows to better display the internal equipment; add universal wheels to make the equipment more flexible; and install mounting brackets to meet different installation methods.

Standards and certifications
The materials of JUSHUN’s enclosure are environmentally compliant, with RoHS and SGS certifications, and the products comply with many national standards. For products in different industries, production will be adjusted to ensure that the products are manufactured in compliance with NEMA standards; are UL listed, and/or IP rated.
Packing
Export wooden box packaging, internal products with pearl film, stretch film and bubble film for different degrees of packaging. You can choose to pack the whole machine or the parts. If there is a special assembly method, we will provide detailed installation instructions or video explanations.
Standards and certifications

Stainless steel is "rust-resistant" but not absolutely stainless. It may still corrode if it is exposed to strong acid/salt or mechanical scratches for a long time.
Customized design: Top heat dissipation holes + dust screen, or adding a fan can make the shell meet the two functions of heat dissipation and protection.
Each has its own advantages. Though 304 stainless steel enclosures are 30%~50% more expensive than galvanized steel plates, the lifespan of stainless steel enclosures is 3~5 times longer.
316 stainless steel (containing molybdenum for corrosion resistance) is required in coastal areas (high salt spray) or chemical equipment, while 304 stainless steel is sufficient for ordinary environments.
This requires you to make a trade-off: low cost but easy to rust, 201 stainless steel is suitable for indoor dry rooms.
