NAME Rating
When you don’t know what the NAME rating is, we recommend that you start with the following aspects:First of all , are your enclosures placed indoors/outdoors? Does your enclosure need solid ingress protection to protect it from accidental contact, falling dirt? Does your enclosure need water ingress protection to overcome the weather of rain, sleet, snow ? Finally, you need to consider other protective qualities, such as whether it will face external environments such as corrosion and external ice formation.
IP Rating
We use IP ratings to measure the ability of our enclosures to protect against small solid objects or liquids. For solid objects, the rating is 0-6, with an IP6 enclosure providing complete protection against dust and contact, and vice versa. For liquids, the rating is 0-8, with an IP8 enclosure protecting against continuous immersion in water to the depth specified by the manufacturer, and vice versa causing immediate water ingress. We will customize enclosures of the relevant standards based on your actual needs.
